The CA Podcast is finally here! The first episode is a little rough but work continues to make it a great new feature of Computer Audiophile. Feel free to send questions, comments, suggestions, or anything else you want to hear about on the CA Podcast to podcast@computeraudiophile.com. The CA Podcast will be released in three formats. As expected uncompressed AIFF 16/44.1, Apple Lossless, and mp3 at 320 kbps. Read more for the links to the three podcast versions. Soon the CA Podcast will be listed in the iTunes Store and readers will be able to subscribe through iTunes.
I'll have the official iTunes Store links shortly to subscribe to the podcast automatically!
EDIT: The CA Podcast is now available in iTunes!

Good job Chris!
While I agree with you that it was a bit roughly executed, it IS after all your first attempt at this. You are coming in loud and clear.... Sounds great at 320kbp compressed. Unlike the MP3 version, in attempting the stream directly from CA (not from iTunes) the AIFF didn't want to start playback on my MBP - I waited 10 minutes before giving up and 'Activity Monitor' showed a download coming in at about 860 kbps during that time. I guess that it wanted to download the whole file before beginning the playback. I opted for the MP3 and wasn't sorry that I did.
Brave new CA World!

Awesome Chris!
Great job on the podcast!
Are you planning a weekly 'cast or as the need arises?
I am waiting anxiously to hear about the new Amarra software/hardware solution.
Cool to hear about the Magico's did you coax them into coming to RMAF this year? I would love the hear them.
I guess they would trump the big Focal Grande Utopia EMs, which were just about my fav's last year....
Seems with all of the incomplete solutions for music/media servers, you should design the CA media server!!!
Thanks,
Jeff

I've done it before for a very specific purpose! See this article:

what was the song at the end? and for the stats, i tried do download the mp3 version but it didnt work strange enough so I had to download the alac and convert to mp3 :)
Hi soppman - Tons of people have been downloading all versions of the podcast including the mp3 version without any problems. I just re-checked the mp3 version as well and it worked perfect. I'm not sure what happened during your attempt, but at least you were able to get the ALAC version!
Thanks for the persistence!
