I was just listening to Manic Street Preachers latest CD and at the end is one of those "Bonus" tracks - you know where there is 5-10 minutes of silence and then another piece of music.
I was wondering how people deal with ripping these - do you just leave them with the big gap, or edit it down to two tracks?

Eloise,
I tend to think of them as a nice sherbet, or other palate cleanser for the ears.
I particularly enjoy the 'gap' in the Eddie Vedder 'Into The Wild' CD - the song is 'Guaranteed', I think.

Audio_ELF,
Personally I use iTunes to edit the start or end times of the track to change the gap time to something along the lines of the normal gap time between tracks.

I like to hunt down the artist concerned, kidnap them, and lock them up in my basement until they promise never to do it again.
Am very much looking forward to buying the re-mastered versions when I finally get out of prison :)
A good laugh in the morning is always good ...
By the way - is that cream of mushroom or chicken?
