HELP!!! How to get 128kbps playback.......

Hi,

I have just bought a Presonus Firebox and am running Media Monkey on my PC into the Firebox. I have imported my itunes library of which some tracks are dowloaded 128kbps. Media Monkey plays these with no problems via the pc's speakers, but when trying to play via the Firebox I get nothing from my speakers. 256kbps dowloads work just fine.

Does anyone know if I can get the Fire box to work with 128kbps ??

I think its a sign that you shouldn't be fooling with 128kbps... jokes! :] Are your 128kbps files in mp3 format?

Hi Martin - Did you look for any hardware incompatibilities on this list?

I know it sounds weird but you may get playback issues with some of these incompatibilities that allow you to play 256k and not 128k files.

Hi, thanks for the replies. It turns out that it's not the Firebox but the DRM protection on most of the itunes downloads! Am sure I can find a way around that.
