Back catalogue high res downloads

Hi all,

Are there any sites offering CD quality (or better!) downloads of classic artists back catalogues? The only sites I have seen so far seem to apply to emerging artists.

Hey Phil - Can you give me an example of some of the artists you are looking for? What I consider a classic artists might not be what you consider a classic artists :-)

Classic artists - good point - let me think - Pearl Jam? I believe they are one of your favourites, although I don't think I know much of their stuff? Mind you, they did an album with Neil Young did they not - I consider him a classic artist along with Van Morrison, Dylan, Paul Simon, Bob Marley .. gosh, the list just goes on - pretty well all your 70s - 90s stuff! Hey Phil - Now we're talkin'. The answer to your question is tough. MusicGiants does offer a lot of what you're looking for but only works on Windows and has some pretty heavy DRM in place. Other than that Individual artists have offered online sales, but it's hit & miss.

We'll get there one of these days!
