• Free Music Friday From Computer Audiophile

Computer Audiophile has teamed up with some of the best audiophile download sites in the world to offer free music for all the CA readers. This is the first of many Free Music Fridays! You read that correctly. Free as in beer or so the saying goes. The first Free Music Friday is available through a special arrangement with high definition download site MusicGiants. Free Music Friday will include some great music from up & coming artists who are on the verge of making it big. Many of the artists can also be seen on tour supporting major acts. Check out the free music and catch a show if you like what you hear. Today is a little different. We'll kick it all off with a two-for-none Free Music Friday classical edition. You'll have to follow the link to see who the artists are. Free music doesn't last forever. I encourage you to download this ASAP!

Oh wait....it's not just that it doesn't work....it's that it only works in IE. And you have to install some DRM extension to download this "No DRM" music. Booo!

Hey scottj - Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the MusicGiants site. I experienced a problem earlier in the day but MG had it fixed by tonight. Right now I'm not having any trouble. But, as you say ie is required and the drm control is required even though these two tracks are drm-free.
I hope some of the other Free Music Fridays will work out for you.
On my PC he MB website seems to be locked in a loop: Select the free d/l, install Active X (yuck) DRM, TELL IT YES, Nothing. Repeat.

In fairness, I have just had to update and upgrade my Norton Internet Security and Norton Systemworks apps, and they always take a while to settle down into normalcy.

So far I cannot get the d/l's though.
Ah this is a great idea.... and it brought me right over to your site!
Unfortunately it doesn't look like this offering will work with Mac OS, even with IE. Alas.
